This policy was published and last updated September 19, 2026. It describes privacy practices on CreepyDates.dev, an unofficial Creepy Dates fan guide. We will update this page when those practices change.
Information and site operation
This site has no accounts or forms that ask you to submit your name or email address. If you email us, we receive your email address and message so we can read and respond. When your browser requests pages, hosting and delivery providers may process technical request data such as your IP address, requested page, time, and browser details for delivery and security under their own terms.
Optional analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand site traffic and improve our content. They load only after you choose “Accept analytics”; before then, this site does not load either analytics script. Analytics data is shared with Google and Microsoft as part of these services. Google Analytics may collect page views, events, device and browser information, and an approximate location; it may use cookies or online identifiers. Microsoft Clarity may collect clicks and scrolling, create heatmaps and session-replay information, and use cookies or online identifiers. This information is not necessarily anonymous and may be personal data under applicable privacy laws. Clarity is configured to mask page text in recordings. Google Analytics advertising storage and personalization are denied in our tag settings.
Your analytics choice
You can reject optional analytics or later change your choice using “Privacy settings” in the footer. The site stores your choice in your browser’s local storage. If you withdraw consent, it signals denial and reloads the page to prevent further analytics collection through the site. Withdrawal does not remove data already sent to Google or Microsoft; contact those providers about information they hold.
Third-party content
The browser game embed loads only after you click “Play Now.” A guide also contains a YouTube embed that loads when requested. Your browser then connects to those third-party services, which may receive connection data and apply their own cookies and privacy practices. Links to the game’s itch.io page also leave this site. Those providers process information under their own terms.
Children and contact
